First established some 30 years ago as a practical and down-to-earth way of bringing together 'buyers' and 'sellers', the show continues to offer its visitors a unique opportunity to see a very wide view of equipment both on static display and also doing a real 'job of work' in the extensive demonstration areas. Over 150 different categories of plant, equipment, materials and services can be found at the Hillhead show. Although the event is traditionally associated with the heavy end of the plant spectrum, a vast range of smaller equipment is always on show, with 3 main demonstration areas (Quarry face, Rock Processing and Recycling).

Prolec's product offering aligns strongly to the values of Hillhead being robust, usable and reliable solutions for safety and productivity for extractive industries.  Our Pro-Safe solutions can be configured to ensure a safe operating envelope is maintained in quarries and at rock faces whilst our Pro-Load solutions are working in quarries all over the country providing clear guidance to operators on safe loadings and allowing productivity gains by transferring information directly to the central despatch/collating offices saving valuable man-hours in recording work performed at the quarry face.
