Heightwatch 6

Construction plant is deployed in a variety of hazardous environments including working in height restricted areas. Prolec's height monitor, Heightwatch 6, is a stand-alone height monitoring safety system designed to limit the maximum angle, and therefore the height, of a single fixed length boom.
The operation of the system is extremely simple; the operator raises the machines equipment to the maximum safe working height limitation. When this height limitation is reached, the key is moved to the "SET" position. If the maximum safe working height limitation is exceeded, visual and audible alarms are activated.

Heightwatch 6: ideal for height limitation environments

The Heightwatch 6 height monitor also has the facility to operate with a single motion cut valve to ensure the equipment cannot exceed the maximum safe working height limitation by cutting the hydraulic motion of the machine. The height monitor enhances safety by the inclusion of a key switch, which can be held by a site foreman or other responsible person, and once the maximum safe working height limitation has been set, the system cannot be overridden without this.
